If you complete a course in an university not recognised by BCI you cannot register on rolls of the local bar council to practise.

I Agree with Mr Vishal

confirm with the University and BCI- whether it is recognized by BCI - before joining in the University and leaving India for study.
Kirti Kar Tripathi (Expert) 21 December 2010
agree with experts. in case the University is in recognized, BCI will not allow enrollment.

You have answers and asking questions. When the BCI is not recognition your foreign law degree how can you practice in India.
Satyendra Kumar Pandey (Expert) 24 December 2010
Sir when you completed your LLB here and go to abrod for practice then they take your test and presurise to participate any law college their for the completion of that course then they can allow you to practice their then How our BCI not do so.
If you after study comes here then you are debar from practice here in any court. and if you practice in any court then at the time of filing wakalatnama (clients authority for sue on his behalf and engaging you) you needed to enter your enrollment number there then you can proceed the case on his behalf.
