Salary on week off.

(Querist) 30 November 2010 This query is : Resolved 
If some body has taken straight 21 days off, whether he will get salary for sundays or not. Please quote the section.

Under both Factories Act as well as in Shop and Commercial Act(Whichever is applicable), the Employee concerned is entitled wages at the double rate of his ordinary wages for weekly off days as overtime wages.
