can husband get anticipatory bail before 498a if wife threatens for filing 498a

Anticipatory bail is anticipation from arrest.It is not granted without a case is instituted.No case no bail.

So in this case husband can not seek anticipatory bail unless the case is registered

Only if the FIR is registered you can get anticipatory bail. You can get a anticipatory bail, anticipating registration of a FIR.
