Termination of Lease Deed during lock-in-period

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 30 July 2010 This query is : Resolved
Respected Sir,

Can a lease deed be terminated during its lock-in-period, by both the parties signing some document.

Deed Contain clause which run as under
.... 'It is agreed that there shall be an ____ (Months) lock in period from both the parties commencing from ___(date) [i.e. both the parties cannot terminate this agreement before the initial _____ (Months) of the Lease Period.'

I infer from your query that the intended termination is bilateral; if yes, it can very well be done..after all, it is the intention of the parties. Earlier they intended to have a lease with a lock in period, now they agree to terminate it..there is no bar.
