Dear Sir,
Relations between my friend and his wife are irreparably strained. My friend, therefore, wants to divorce his wife. Facts are as follows:-
1. Married for almost 18 years.
2. Two children aged approx 14 years and 9 years.
3. My friend had gone abroad for his employment about four years ago and wanted his wife to join him there but she refused. Now he has come back but she has refused to co-habit with him.
4. She does not allow her children to visit their paternal grand parents but sends or takes them to their maternal grand parents. Even with their father she tells them to maintain social distance.
5. He is giving her money regularly for all expenses.
Please advise how he should proceed.

Me and my wife are Hindu's and got married in March 2020,due to not heeding to her demands of a separate house she left the matrimonial home and now she has filed a petition under Sec 12 of HMA alleging I am insane and she wants my marriage to be declared null and void, can i file a defamation case against my wife as this allegation is merely false and baseless.

Court dismissed the set a side application of the respondent for ex parte in divorce case.
And the next stage is for Evidence.The court asked Petitioner to get witness for evidence.
How many witness required in ex parte evidence and what are the other stages?
Any format or affidavit needs to be filed by the witnesses?
How long will it now take for a divorce at this stage?
Can the defendant now do anything to stop ex parte in divorce case ?

Hi , we got married in 2019 - my wife left me after one month . recently me and my wife filed a mutual divorce , judge had given 6 months of cooling period. can my wife file a case against me during this period after signing mou .

DV filed by my estranged wife. No evidence mentioned/attached in the copy petition of DV given to me.. I am asked to file Written Statement.
How shall I mention to Hon'ble Judge of this and plead him for evidence filing by prosecution for me to prepare proper written statement.

I'm from Tamilnadu Hindu family.
My grandfather died intestate in 1960 leaving behind his son (x) and daughter(y).
I'm the son of his daughter.
After the death of my grandfather the revenue details got mutation to his son X name only. Now we have conflict with the property. We are planning for filing partition suit in court.
The property is the self acquired property of my grandfather.
After his death, the death was not registered.
How to get the death and legal heir certificate now??

Dear Experts,
My Interim application of child custody got rejected by Family Court and High Court. High Court gave direction of completing the main trial in 4 months. Since its just a direction and due to pendency of cases, it may take even 4 years, I approached Supreme Court. But Supreme Court dismissed at admission stage.
Can I file review petition in Supreme Court ? Pls guide me for Pros and Cons of doing that.
