father purchased a property, after some years transferred it to my mother. After his death my mother has nominated my younger brother without my consent. What are my rights as legal heir.

Your mother has not inherited that property . So she has got every right to transfer it to anyone she likes.

YOU MAY KINDLY FILE A CIVIL SUIT FOR PARTITION OF PROPERTY BY RAISING DISPUTE THAT THE SAID PROPERTY WAS PURCHASED FROM THE INCOME FROM SALE OF ANCESTRAL PROPERTY AND LET COURT DECIDE THE MATTER.
GOOD LUCK.

what is the nomination given by your mother?
niranjan (Expert) 11 July 2010
How the land was transferred to mother ? If only by way of mutation in revenue record, you can claim, but if the transfer is by any regd.deed, then your mother is entitled to deal it.

U have no rights in the property.
