dear,
sirs,

iam from the defence and i am having difficulty in interpreting section 68 of the copyright Act that is penalty for making false statements for the purpose of deceiving or influencing any authority or officer.

tha lanuguage is not clear to me , I shall be obliged to you if you would interpret it for me.

PLEASE READ " KNOWING THE SAME TO BE FALSE" AGAIN WITH CASE LAW ON MENS REA, STATEMENT MAY BE FALSE BUT PROSECUTION MUST ESTABLISH THAT IT WAS MADE KNOWINGLY. TO MY MIND IT MAY BE ONE OF THE BEST DEFENCE.
