Damage of led tv during warranty period

Dear Sir,
I have purchased a LED TV of VU make which is in warranty period. I have registered a complain of unnecessary lines in bottom portion of TV panel. A service engineer visited and check the TV. After checking they submit a budgetary offer of repair and state that TV would not come in warranty service and you have to pay for maintenance because some spots mark in the middle of the panel. I told that I had complain for unnecessary bottom lines at bottom of the panel and which is no technical relation with the spots. And also "black line problem" comes under warranty period clearly mentioned in the VU Tv website. It seems that VU TV tried to divert the problem. Please advice what to do? Shall I lodge complain in consumer court

You get the report in writing that they are not liable to rectify the defects and are asking you to pay for the repair charges.
After that you can file a complaint case before the district consumer commission for deficiency in service and compensation accordingly

Did you maintain records of purchase bill, warranty certificate, complaint and its result/ report of engineer ? If so, file a complaint before your district consumer disputes redressal commission.
It is better to show relevant records to a local prudent lawyer for appreciation of facts, professional advise and necessary proceeding,

If any defect or manufacturing defect in T.V appears during warranty period, Manufacturer and dealer both are jointly and severally liable to remove or replace the defective T.V, even if the do not remove or replace the defect it amounts to their deficiency in services and unfare trade practice. File complaint before District Consumer Commission and claim replacement of T.V and compensation towards mental and physical agony caused to you.
