How many legal heirs of your father have? As the flat is jointly owned by you and your father, for your father's half (1/2) share all the legal heirs including daughters with you have equal rights. So all the other legal heirs shall execute a relinquishment (release) deed in your favour by releasing their rights over the property.
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (Expert) 27 August 2021
All legal heirs of your father have rights and share in his undivided share in property so if they relinquish their share in favour of you by registered release deed then you will become absolute owner of property.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 27 August 2021
Obtain a surviving member certificate of your father and get a relinquishment deed registered by other LRs of their share in your favour .
