Land registery

Hello sir,
My father purchased a piece of land in 2015,
But didn't register the same.
And, nowadays he heartld about linking immovable property with Aadhar number, under benami act.
Is registry of land require for link Aadhar ?
And
Is it possible to register the same land now ?

It is mandatory to register the transaction and pay the stamp duty and registration charges. Even now you can pay the stamp duty and register the document.

It would be advisable to consult a local prudent lawyer for appreciation of facts, guidance and proceeding.

Ji,, your father purchased the land but did he pay any advance for it? Is there any Agreement? However if the seller is ready to execute a sale deed in your father's favour, pay the stamp duty and other incidental charges. Now a days Aadhaar Card is compulsory for both parties (sellers and buyers).
