Leave of absence for election duty on medical ground.

My wife has been appointed in election duty for Lok Sabha 2019. she is pregnant for 7month, so she may not be able to attain. What are the consequences for this? Please Reply its urgent!!

Dear sir, your wife shall approach the Election Officer/District Collector and convince him to exempt her from Election duty due to pregnancy (7th month carrying).

agreeing with above views I will add that mere application is not enough the exemption has also to be recorded in computer data base so that she should not be treated as absentee which involves police action.

Submit medical records of your wife to her department as well as election officers (through department) and apply for exemption. She may get exemption, which is not sure.
