Re: External Law Classes

(Querist) 03 March 2010 This query is : Resolved
Greetings to All,
A friends sister from Pune India has done her HSC with 46% marks in the year 2003. After that just done external courses in Tally and Photoshop etc.
She must be approx. 25 years of age. She is inetersted in pusuing Law. Kindly guide as to if she can do Law externally at this position and if yes then where does one have to apply. Also if it can be done externally, then how many years course would it be and where would the exams have to be given. Also would this be recognized as the same as other advocates/lawyers allowed to practice whether under a senior or seperate.
This answer would help me in helping someone I could educate.
Regards
Atish

Atish! She shall have to contact some law college and shall have to appear in the entrance examination meant for admission and once she clears it, she can get her admission in 5 years degree course of law. After successful completion of this course, she shall be awarded degree which have equal value as asked by you.

There are various law colleges even in Pune.
