Can B.lit be promoted as high school HM

In one of the case I saw that b.lit can become middle school HM. But sir could you please tell me if B.lit can be promoted as high school HM.

Sir my husband's family have a govt aided minority school. My husband is doing final year b.ed with Tamil major. This November HM is retiring so to put posting for my husband can we promote Tamil teacher who is a B.lit as HM.

If you are in Tamil Nadu, the B.Lit in Tamil Nadu is equivalent to B.Ed and eligible to the post of H.M. You can confirm it in the Education Department.
