Annulment of Marriage

My friend has been forced into a marriage under pressure and also drugs him during marriage procedure by his own family 2 years ago..After that he started to live alone separately from his family..Now his so called wife gave birth to a son but since he does not have any physical intimacy with her after marriage..He doubts the child to be his..But his family is insisting that the child is his and also in birth certificate they got it registered which he disapproves...Now he want to get full rid of his family and that lady with baby..He got so fed up that now he wants to file a case against his family and that lady to prove the truth..Can it be annulment of marriage on the grounds of wife having a child from other person other than him..?

Yours is a totally vague query that does not deserve any solution. However, if there is any truth in your story, your so called 'FORCED' should consult some local lawyer with complete background, as you cannot be treated as his legal representative.

Under which medicine he was forced to marry? Person in the influence of drugs usually go into sleep and this fellow goes through complete marriage ceremony. Not believable.
As far the child born out of marriage under section 112 of the Evidence Act he is the father of the child.
He's not living with wife and seeking annulment of marriage is not possible.
Only way to get dissolution of marriage is by divorce on sufficient grounds not otherwise.

Thanks for editing your post by substituting the word "forced" by "friend," but vagueness cannot be ruled out.

Instead of asking your question here on behalf of your friend, you could better have taken him to some psychiatrist for consultation about his mental state.

You have not replied the query of Shri Vijay Raj Mahajan. Any specific reason for that. Also, if your friend was under influence of any drug, what process the family members used to get all the long customary rituals and that too in the presence of gathering of guests of both the sides?
