Land Dispute

My father bought a land property from a old woman. Now, the old woman's daughters have filed a case claiming that our property should belong to them. But, the property which we purchased, was actually given to the old lady for her life by a local civil court ,after dividing the rest of the property among the daughters. Property belongs to whom now?

From the facts stated, property belonged to the old lady and the daughters have no claim or rights over it.
