(Querist) 11 June 2017 This query is : Resolved
Dear experts
I given an amount of Rs.3,00,000/-in cash to one of my relatives on 04.06.2017 on a condition that he has to pay on 09.06.2017. But not paid and threatning that he don't pay saying that he did not received through cheque. But he executed a promissory note agreeing to repay the amount interest @24 percent p.a. infavor of me.
Can't I recover the amount from the court of law
Kindly advice on this.
Thanq in advance.

Forget it, even if it is your real problem. You should be satisfied with his promissory note, if he agreed to pay interest and or loan amount

Advancing loan on 4-06-2017 for return on 09-06-2017 i.e., just for 5 days and that too Rs.3,00,000/- in cash, which you have demanded and got threats is absolutely and undoubtedly unbelievable and hypothetical story?

No reply for such fabricated, fake and false question.

Consult a local lawyer if there is some truth in the story.

There is nothing to be believed, as per the description of your query.

However, if your description is somewhat true, only friendly recovery can be possible, but not through litigation. Even the promissory note, which is in your possession can also be proved to have been got made by coercion.

What was that attraction; the relation, the trust due to relation, the interest, the promissory note............!

Appreciating poem, poetry like finesse of Vashistaji, I would like to post a couplet:

‘Bare Badnaseeb the jo kraar tak na pahunche
Dare yaar tak pahunche, dil-e-yaar tak na pahunche’

Getting aged and bald is not a guaranteed sign of maturity.
