Dear Nardim Vasta,
Being a Supreme Court Lawyer, I hope, you can very well analyse the provision of law what that really tells.
Mere telling by the Government can't change the spirit of law, as that does not tell anywhere that mother-in-law can't file a dv case against her daughter-in-law.
The law is made for women in general, not merely and exclusively for the class of daughters-in-law only among the women.
Government has the right to tell only if the law is changed by notifying the Amended Act through the Gazette of India, as duly passed by both the houses of Parliament and assented by the President of India. Otherwise, there is no relevance of telling by the Government.
