Caste certificate verification during probation

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 27 April 2016 This query is : Resolved
Respected Experts,
I am a probationary officer in bank with 10 months of service. I belong to Scheduled Tribe catagory for which I had produced caste certificate to bank. On verification, bank officials have notified me that my caste certificate has been cancelled in 2012. Though, no certificate cancellation notification has been received by me till now. And thus I claimed seat in reserved catagory. But now the bank has said that I falsely produced certificate and my services will be terminated.
Please tell me what can I do in this regard.

bank has no jurisdiction to examine whether the cancellation was justified or not.

all that they know is that on the date of joining you were not ST they have no choice but to terminate you.

Normally ,the appointing authority seeks confirmation from the Issuing authority regarding authenticity of Caste certificate basing on which separate consideration is made for appointment into reserved posts. If the said authority have communicated reg. cancellation of certificate issued to you ,then it is the duty of the appointing authority to intimate you in writing regarding such development. After receipt of any such communication , you can approach the Issuing authority to know reason of cancellation and effective date of such cancellation.

What are the measures that I can take because no official order was given to me. Can I apply for a stay order on termination notice?? Keeping in mind that I am still in probation.
