An officer signature and office stamp are forged by a contractor

Dear Sir

What will be the next procedure if a contractor find forged a govt officer signature and his office seal in several documents favoured to him? It is proved from RTI that no documents were prepared and released by the office or officer to such contractor.

1. A criminal complaint can be filed against the contractor under sections 463, 465, 466, 467, 468, & 471. I.P.C.

If the case pertains to your own office, you may lodge a complaint with the police about forgery of documents for the purpose of cheating by the contractor. Rest of the action the police will take after proper investigation of the case.
