dear sir,
my house maids daughter got a job in the banking sector {sbi}five years back under sc reservation. she was married with a christian boy by taking conversion in to Christianity recently one month back . now they are having the following doubts.

1 whether she looses the job or
2 she looses the reservation facility in further promotions from the date of conversion
kindly reply as they are ignorant of the issue.

Marriage and conversion had taken place after 4 years of service and Nothing to worry.Let her not change her name in Records and only up date about her marriage

I cannot agree to the idea of hiding facts from deptt and being in service. This way she is reaping a fraud which she may have to harvest at the end of career whereby she can be thrown out after full career without retirement benefits and there is also danger of registration of FIR.

SHE CANNOT LOSE JOB. AT THE TIME OF ENTRY IN SERVICE SHE WAS VERY WELL SC AND ENTITLED FOR RESERVATION.

2 she looses the reservation facility in further promotions from the date of conversion

VERY TRUE.

AFTER CONVERSION TO CHRISTIANITY SHE IS NO MORE ENTITLED FOR ANY FURTHER RESERVATION SHE MUST REPORT TRUTH TO THE DEPTT SO THAT IS IS NEVER ALLEGED OF GETTING ILLEGAL BENEFIT..

There is absolutely no role of Disst caste scrutiny committees.

They are concerned only if she is caught illegally taking reservation benefit after conversion to Christianity.

All she has to do is to intimate that bank that she has converted out as Christian and no more claiming reservation.

thank you very much and she was already prepared to fore go further reservation facility in future promotions and other service benefits by intimating the conversion
