Wife share in husbands ancestoral property

Wheather a wife can get property from husband for her maintainence in place of money by oral agreement between husband and wife where husband say yes to give property for maintainence , after that he sale the lwhooe land
wheather i can challenge that this sale is illegal because husband gives oral agreement to give property for maintainence?

wheather she can get property from husbands ancestoral property

The owner of the property can give it away to anyone in his/her life time by sale/WILL/gift deed etc..........



Wife has no share in ancestral property of husband in life time of husband.

Wife has charge of maintenance over husband property,so if she can prove oral agreement,she can challenge sale by paying court fee of valuation.

wife does not have any right over the share of the ancestral property of the husband during his life time.What do U mean by oral agreement and how do U value it legally?I don't think she will accept UR oral agreement.U have to register it and she will demand it too.Answer Mr.Venu.

Oral agreement is difficult to prove.

Any transaction regarding property need registration.

Wife has no right over the share of the ancestral property of the husband during his life time.

The maintenance can be claimed in accordance of court orders or mutual agreement duly signed by both the parties.
