Time limit for arguement

(Querist) 17 July 2015 This query is : Resolved
Is there any time limit for argument by defendant lawyer after the argument is submitted by Plaintiff in first appeal ?

Even after 3 months after argument by Plaintiff, Defendant lawyer is not doing argument. He is just taking the time.

M/s. Y-not legal services (Expert) 17 July 2015
actually after completion of both side evidence case will be posted to arguments.

arguments mean both side arguments only. if argument heard mean judgmemnt has to pronounced with in three days.

so as of your given fact your case stage might be as "argument heard partly" "argument continuation"..

just be patience..

NO fixed time limit for it.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 18 July 2015
No fixed time for it, prey the court to proceed if other party is not interested in arguments.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 19 July 2015
Though there is no fixed time limit for this, you may insist the court close the cae without hearing the arguments of the other side in view of the dilatory tactics adopted by the opposite side.
