Plaintiff make me respondent with some other persons & a summon served on me and I appeared before the court but plaintiff is not filing summon for service on other respondents and i m in hurry for disposal of the case. Now what can i do.

u can take the defence that the plaintiff is not taking the steps and the matter may b dismissed for want of service.

Yes. Case can be got dismissed if the plaintiff do not care for summoning to the defendants.

Rahulji, u r in hurry, but not courts. there are specific procedures adopted as per the code. plaintiffs have to take a steps in summoning defndants, some duration is permitted, other wise case can be dismissed for non- prosecution. its courts discretionay power as to early disposal, so ask ur advocate to press the matter as pltffs not taking steps since frm long time n as such dismiss for non prsctn..
