Error in deed

Hello Sir,
My name is sundeep Chandra. My query is as under:
My father, who was the owner of the property, expired in 1994. After that me and my two sisters (one of them were married at that time) decided to transfer the property in the name of my mother. We went to Authority at Janakpuri and made all the papers . Unfortunately, an error was made in the deed i.e. the name of my elder brother – in – law and his relationship with my father printed as Pankaj Chandra, SON instead of his actual name Pankaj Sain, who is actually son-in-law.
Sir, my queries are:
1. What was the role of my brother-in-law at that time? What is his role now? Do we need to have an NOC from him also?
2. What is the procedure for rectifying the same?
