Query related to parking in cooperative housing society

(Querist) 29 June 2014 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

I am living in a cooperative housing society in Pune. Builder has allocated parking's at the time of sale. I have a parking space adjoining which builder left some empty space as barely a car can park there.
Conveyance has not yet happened and Society has identified empty spaces and marked them for parking. Even the space next to my car park has been marked. It was told that members would need to pay but society is not collecting any money and ppl have considered it as their parking. Due to this I am facing issues in parking my car in the space aloted by the builder and at times even problem to open the doors.
I have reached out to the society but no response from them. Can you please throw some light on what stand I have in such a case and also is there a rule that as per by laws every parking should have some minimum size. My parking 134 sq mt and the one next to me is much smaller.

Help is appreciated. Awaiting for your response.

raise the issue in AGM . generally at time of allotment of car parking slots measurements are taken so that even largest car can fit in the slot allotted . if your parking space is such that your car cannot fit in property request the society to redraw the parking slots . try to obtain support from some other members also .

Take up the matter with the society and try to get amicable settlement.

Dispute as agitated,do not fall within the ambit of consumer fora rather it can be raised before the society AGM itself failing which before the registrar.
