Dear experts,
I filed a complaint against a person regarding cheating with the station house officer, but he did not registered a case nor taken any action and hence i filed a private complaint against the person regarding the matter before the Magistrate and the matter refereed to the police by the magistrate .despite repeated requests made by me the police issued FIR.The complaint refereed to the police date is 04-09-2013 and the same is received by the police on the same day. but FIR issued on 01-03-2014 stating that the complaint Date is 01-03-2014.accused is very influential in all manners and it is learn t that the the accused MANAGED the police.the police stating that the matter is CIVIL in nature .when i explain the details there is no reply from the police.hence i request you all there is any legal remedy or getting direction from the hon'ble high court.kindly advice me about the above.thank you experts in advance

FIR has been lodged, wait and watch. police has to move as per procedure.

You have already sought the help of the police through court, if you are not satisfied with the police report or their action, you may file a private complaint u/s 200 cr.p.c. and prosecute the case yourself through your advocate instead of blaming the ineffectiveness of the police.
