Dear sir,
I m a senor executive in a reputed public sector corporation.Sometimes i wish to contest assembly or lok sabha election but have certain doubts in my mind.
1. Can i contest election without quitting the job.
2.I want to quit the job only after i get elected. in case i m not elected, i want to remain in service.
Is this possible, pl clarify.

Dozens of corporators of municipal corporation were employee, and come back to work after their 5 yrs period is over. Fully paid.Bank Employee Test match crickers used to get their full pay, while playing test matches, hardly come once to receive salary, in a year.your employer will continue paying you, during your tenure of public office, and released you with full pay

I agree with Expert Mr. V.R SHROFF. What you wanted to do is an open secret. You can take even your boss into confidence and get his opinion.
