I have got 40cents of land .I got this property through WILL of my father expired 2 years ago . On papers and physically also there is 40 cents of land with same boundary wall (nothing is changed since 1979)

Now i approached local authorities for changing to my name from father .They have issued me a possession certificate of 38 cents. When once on papers and previous papers it shows it is 40cents and there was a court case also in 1992 at that time also it was measured and there also shows it is 40cents (i hold judgements papers) .How this can be sorted out

FILE CERTIFIED COPY OF JUDGEMENT IN LOCAL AUTHORITY AND ASK THEM TO ISSUE FRESH CERTIFICATE SHOWING IT AS 40 CENTS.

Approach the local authorities with all the papers and requst them to rectify the error.

If you have the physical extent and also as well as on the paper, it can be rectified. Approach the local authority and explain the defect and ask them to rectify.

Yes, as advised by expert Mr.Baala, approach the local revenue authorities and get your defective documents issued by them rectified by submitting an application along with the certified copies of the judgment in this regard, you will get relief.
