Mutual divorce petition

(Querist) 22 November 2013 This query is : Resolved
Sirs,

Can you kindly advice me if we both can approach an advocate to file a mutual divorce petition together.

Or is it necessary that we have to be represented by advocates for each one of us to file the mutual divorce petition.

Thanks for your advice.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 22 November 2013
You can approach a single lawyer to do this but signature of two advocates is needed which your lawyer would manage.

For MCD, single adv is enough, no need of another Adv.

If you both are going together, then the lawyer approached jointly by you both will take care of separating you both, thank God that atleast during the time deciding about parting with each other both have been together.

Sirs, thank you for your advice

Kalaisevam Sir, though it is good we have stayed together for 30 days and living separately for 14 years and finally she has now agreed for mutual as she is leaving to UK on permanent basis.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 25 November 2013
If she is agree then go for without wasting time any more.
