Dear DS.Reddy,

If you are the transferees of original Inamdars under Estate Abolition Act of A.P, the rights of Original Inamdars and their transferees are fully protected. But to have a stronger protection under the current law, you should've been put in possession of the land in question by the original Inamdars to enjoy your usufructuary mortgagee rights.File a suit for declaration and possession against the fake pattedars, after getting issued a legal notice to them. Please see the following Supreme Court decisions on the rights of Inamdars and the rights of their subsequent transferees.

AIR 1994 SC 340, para 6 (Kiran Singh and Ors. v. Chaman Paswan and Ors.)

(K. Ramadas Shenoy v. Udupi Municipality), paras

18 and 28
