498a and 304b

Hi Experts

My wife left the house six months back and put 498A and DV case right now DV case is going on.

I never heard about this 498A before marriage or any such incident happening in the society.However I heard only about divorce.

Going further I also got to know about 304B Dowry Death.However i am 100% sure that she is not going to do any such thing as she is the most selfish and self center girl.

But one thing is that her mother is not so supportive to her as she knew about her daughter nature, what i believe is definitely one on the other day both (mother & Daughter ) argued with each other.

What if she suicide becaz of her mother, relative or friends who says something against her within the four wall of house.

And how it will going to impact me.

ignorance of law is not excused. you may circulated it that she is not residing with you

Don't imaagine things..... if she were to commit suicide, she might not have filed S.498A and DV cases. Unfortunately if such thing do happen then, it would depend upon the contents of the FIR and if you are implicated in it then you will have to fight it out.

Hello Respected Experts

Currently I am in a situation where most of the things i can imagine only but can't control.
To know more about this 498A i started reading law books and internet search so there i found that A girl Who put 498A and immediadely she commit suicide after that assume to be dowry death.

As there is NO specif time limit mentioned in the law i was confused what does this Immediately meaning , six mnt, one year or two year.

Please calirify

Do not raise hypothetical question.
Fight the cases as per its merit.

Let matter proceed, you do not imagine , or proceed. You only defend your DV case now.
You may have to return any stridhan , and pay maintenance, residence in DV.
You demand Mediator/ Council ling, and try to re-unite if you so wish. you can buy time , and increase your chances to settle the matter. So Apply for it, Raise Questionnaires, to file Reply.

Suicide after few months of Leaving your home may pin point somebody / something else too. But do not imagine negatives. Just defend ur self.
498 : 98% are acquitted, so don't worry.

If suicide , Only one case u/s 306 IPC will
have to be defended, and for lack of Witnesses, it is likely to be in your favour, So Why Worry???
