Housing association bye-laws amendment

(Querist) 20 May 2013 This query is : Resolved
1) Is it necessary to re-register if any changes is made to Housing Association Bye-Laws (registered under Travancore Cochin Literary, Scientific, and Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955)?

2) The bye law says for amendment/ change 2/3 rd majority votes are required in a General Body Meeting. Can we change this to say 60% and to electronic voting system conducted through e-mails/ mobile phones as most of the Association Members are outside Indian and cannot be present in a General Body Meeting.

Appreciate receiving your expert advice - regards.
