Facebook confession pages- can action be taken?

A lot of confession pages have started on facebook, mainly for colleges, where students can post anonymously. What happens if someone posts something malicious against a person on such page- can action be taken?

Who would be responsible? The administrator of the page? The original poster is anonymous and there's no way to trace who posted the message.

Anything published any defamatory articles, the author is liable, along with it's publisher.

The author of post can definitely be traced out, however, this is a very tedious job. all persons you told in query are responsible for malicious prosecution/defamation.
