Gratuity claim

Dear Sir
I joined in ONIDA group of companies in 09/10/1988(Onida saka ltd. ) and resigned from the job on 11/8/2010 (Adonis electronics Pvt .ltd ) .In 22 years of my service life in this same group I have changed three establishment according to company (ONIDA )self decision without any gape .Now I want to know the Gratuity amount that I have to claim and what is the process to claim it.

Depends upon your service contract with each of your employment in different compny. First find out the position on contacting the HR section of the last worked company.

Gratuity is payable on completion of 4 years and 240 days in 5th year so now calculate your position.

Irrespective of the group of companies, the companies being different, your claim would rest with each company individually, if these are limited or private limited companies, unless your slary source company remained the same. Different companies mean different entities/ organisations. Your claims with each company should be based on the years of service rendered in each individual company.
