I am a central govt. employee, working in Income tax Department, where I have got experience in the field of taxation for 15 years. I have passed departmental exam for Income tax Officer where I have cleared papers for indirect taxes laws & practices, book keeping, advance accountancy ( theory & practical) and others law which are relevant to CA course. Now I am willing to join CA course for which I have to give CPT. My main question is regarding articleship. Is working with Income tax department may be considered under the guideline of industrial training. If not. how can I do my articleship alongwith my present job. Please let me know all the possibilities under which I can complete CA course without loosing my previous. After three years I will be eligible to get full pension as per rules and I also want to complete my job also.

It shall be better if you raise this query at www.caclubindia,com instead of here as almost all members are CAs there which can easily guide you having practical experience with them.
