landlord pleaded that he requires tenanted premises for running the business of general merchant business but in cross examination stated he does not want to start the business of general merchant. whether landlord can go outside the his own specific pleading? if no, then please provide the case law regarding this fact

it means his case is liable to be dismissed by court.

If landlord fails to establish his bonafide requirement then the rent petition shall stand dismissed and there ate numerous of such citations but search on indiankanooon.in
