Mr. X was the owner of an immovable property.Mr. Y managed to sell that property by executing and registering a Conveyance Deed by disclosing that he was the owner of the said property and the buyer bought it in good faith.Can Mr. X file a suit to set-aside the above deal?

Yes! X the real owner can file a suit of cancellation of sale deed executed by Y either by impersonation or by fraud.Buyers were under obligation of due diligence failing on that score shall not provide them the defense plea OF BONA FIDE purchaser for value.

Not only X can file the suit seeking setting aside the sale deed but also criminal case against the seller and buyer and all other persons who assisted Y to sale that property/
