Terminatation without notice

My friend working in an IT firm, completed his 13 months. last week company owner decide to shut off his company and fired him without notice(salary) and after my friend tell him its wrong then company owner mis behave with him and thrown him from office.

does my friend have right to go to Indian labor court for his compensation?

No, it is not falling within the jurisdiction of labour court.
If any arrears is due to your friend then he is entitled to get the same for which legal recourse could be taken.
If they have any job contract executed between them then its contents are key to resolution of this dispute.

First of all it is to be seen whether your brother falls in the category of workman or not. If yes then he has a legal right to get the compensation under ID Act.

Anyway, in what capacity your friend was employed in the IT Firm?
