Gud morning ,
I have a land of 1 acre in district headquarter shimoga in karnataka and i want to divide it in plots of 30x40 and sell it. What is the procedure for this?....
and what will be approximate/Guessing amount for the entire process?
The land lies in residential area,but its revenue land..,

contact local lawyer.

Visit local Municipality and ask for procedure to fragment the land.
In WB it does not require any prior permission.
