Sir,

Is it legally ok if a company deducts 24% p.f. from the salary of an employee.

Eagerly waiting for a reply.
Guest (Expert) 24 July 2012
Your question is incomplete without mention whether such deduction is made at the option of the employee or the same is being deducted by the company compulsorily?

Don't expect replies when you have not supplied the required information, as asked in my previous reply. Even otherwise, Shri Shroff has already given you correct reply based on incomplete information of your query.

Eagerly waiting for ...........?
Guest (Expert) 05 August 2012
If the dideduction at 24% is over and above the wish of the employee, you should have come with the real problem to indicate what percentage the employer contributes from his side to his account.

Please avoid incomplete questions without any background.

Ranveer,
If you are in large Organisation having your Union, ask them to do the needful.
If a Pvt or small firm. talk with your Per Dept head, and resolve it.
Or write a letter asking them to deduct as per Law.
Contact
The Regional Provident Fund Commissioner
Employees Provident fund Organisation
Regional Office

P.F. Laws are clear.
