old ancestral property at sawantwadi

sir,

we have some 25 acres of land at Talavada , near to sawantwadi, recently my father in law died living behind my husband and his four married sisters and without any Will. Sir, is it neceeary to put their name in 7/12 Utara first for putting my husband's name.

One family member can be recorded as owner for and on behalf of all the family memebrs /legal heirs /successors

or

all the names of the lrs /successors can be recorded .

Every family members have got equal rights. By giving a wardi by one of the family members to enter the name of all the family members on behalf of them.

7/12 Utara - appears to be a revenue register / or / a record for mutations
by succession or other wise proerty acquired !

In fact names of all the Legal Representatives must be entered in the 7x12 utara unless the LRs mutually agree to enter name of a single person as Ekatra Kutumb karta i.e. karta of the family. In that he will hold the property on behalf of all other co-owners.
