I met an accident by car last year and a old man fell down and got head injury. I dont run away from the spot and take him to the hospital. After 3 days i recieved a call from police station that a FIR is lodged against my name and have to go to court for case...they have signed me for IPC 279. The man who injured take the Claim of Rs. 1.15 lakh from the insurance company by court. Now they dont want to compromise with us. So please anyone tell me that what is the desicion of court in this matter and if i got any Govt. Job than this case is effected my job???? M very stressed Wat to do

its not understandable that FIR was registered after 3 years...better visit some local lawyer and find out what actually happened in court.

You needn't to worry as it is not too severe crime. Your carrier will not affected.

for this the try to decide the claim petition as early as possible and after that you can settle the case of 279 IPc
