What is a Camera Trial?

We follow an open court system where public and press is allowed to watch proceedings going on in any case.

CAMERA TRAIL is just opposite of open court system where as an exception trail does not go on in open court.

Some time law it self prescribes for such a trail and in some others it may be found desirable to order so due nature or sensitivity of the case.

IN CAMERA Trial, where no public/ press is allowed to see the proceedings. The proceedings can not be published.

It is common in Rape/ child molestation cases.
