Sir,
i am staying in rental flat @3000/- per month for last 3 yrs with out any issue.
& the flat belong to mrs. wade & agreement is signed by her & deposit of 20,000/- also taken by her.

now the problem is she left her husband & she is living separately.& she told me to deposit monthly rent in her bank account which i was doing so.but her husband is asking us to pay the rent to him & her wife says her. what to do ? & he comes late nite & drunk some time & he use abusive language & i got recently got married . i told his wife but she is not doing anything in this . what should i do & how. regards, mahesh

Pay the rent to the title holder. If it is a joint property, You can deposit the rent in the court. For this move a petition including the husband and wife as parties.

you had taken the premises on rent from Ms Wada also agreementin this regard was executed betwwen you and Ms wada so you are bound to pay the rent to Ms wada.If husband of Ms wada makes nuisance you can make complain to police.
