Recovery of money

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 03 August 2011 This query is : Resolved
I've paid a certain amount of money to a lady. She has expired without repaying the amount. Can I file a suit against her legal representatives/heirs???

What are the documents that you have in your possession to prove that you gave the money and that she received it.
Further, when did you give the amount? Whether the lady in question has any property(ies) movable (including bank accounts etc.) or immovable of her own?

Your case depends upon (1)If you have documentary evidence in token of having given some amount to the lady and (2)also the nature / type of documentary evidence.
