FSI Deviation

(Querist) 13 July 2011 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

My builder had deviated FSI and hence am not able to get my ICICI loan transferred to SBI. As per SBI technical panel FSI measured as 1.95 to 2. When i checked with builder he defended like one of the other flat owner had transferred from hDFC to Indian bank and was asking us to go for that. Can i take action against the builder for FSI deviation?

Thanks,
Vijay

You can legally initiate against your builder as he has illegally deviated FSI.

FSI deviation is not a ground for rejection of the house loan.

The Town planning authorities can demolish only the excess of FSI, not the entire building.
