rejoining after resignation.

i resigned from cisf on 23-09-10.I have aplied for resignation on 4 may 2010.before that on 01-05-10 i consulted a government mental doctor and he diagnosed me for depression and give medicines.was my resignation letter valid,as i was under depression. i now wants to rejoin.is it possible because i submitted resignation under dipression.thanks for your views.

You have to first find out whether your office accepted your resignation letter. Only thereafter something could be told. While legally one cannot take back the resignation once submitted and accepted, still lot would depend upon the real fact situation.
In fact, you can definitely visit your office and make enquiries. They will be in a better position to advise you. Please do visit your office. There are a number of good people in each office who try to help to the maximum extent possible in these situations on humanitarian considerations.
