time limit for completion of enquiry

(Querist) 11 July 2011 This query is : Resolved 
CAT ,vide order dt 05.4.11,directed to complete deptt.enquiry within 6 months.
Contempt petition was filed in2007 but CAT refusedt o issue notice.
In 2011 IInd show cause notice has beee illegally asked in said proceeding.
Whether I should give reply or not because the enquiry is without jurisdiction

what legal remedy is availale tome?

Once a show cause is issued,the the employee is under obligation to reply it. If you consider, it is without jurisdiction, you can take this objection in reply itself but non giving giving reply may prove fatal for you.

once you receive any notice for any number of times, reply is the factual and actual legal need as it response that is marked by courts,silence may lead an ADVERSE SUGGESTION.
