Prayer in petition not part of decree mutual consent

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 04 June 2011 This query is : Resolved
There are various prayers to a court in mutual consent divorce.
However the court passes only a decree " dissolving the marriage".
1)What is the status of other prayers, not mentioned n decree?
2)Are thay deemed to be accepted or rejected?
3)If a party does not comply with conditions in prayer, but not a part of decree,, will it amount to contempt of court?

your query is answered by the section 11 of c.p.c.
if not granted deemed to be refused
only if the decree is not complied the contempt of court will arise. not the conditions in prayer.
