video recording is still not allowed in Indian courts.

as far as video conferencing is concerned it has been allowed in criminal cases where the accused are lodged in jails, in order to ensure their safety and for other savings this system was introduced. But it is still not being followed effectively.

Yes. Am agree with mr.kirankumar. Dear author still you are in india. Don't forget it..
wifebetrayed (Querist) 22 May 2011
In India, the provision for in camera proceedings is given in section 11 of the Family Courts Act 1984 so that there is no ambiguity to prevent the parties from seeking this in court. Rule 2 of Order XXXII-A of the Civil Procedure Code also allows for proceedings to be held in camera.

Further, Section 45 of the Indian Divorce Act 1869 applies all the proceedings of the Civil Procedure Code to apply to proceedings held under this Act.

so this statement is false ?????

Dear author, you are correct, but indian judiciary is not a small project to apply everything that much easily sir. Due to the heavy number of cases its not possible in india sir.. Even though very rare occasion its happening. As per Kiran sir words in criminal proceedings judges meeting the accused who is under judicial custodby through video conferencing.

May be possible where extreme violence or serious incidents are expected. But Indian judiciary has not yet been made e-readiness for adoption due to resource crunch.
